Rajat Rialch

Principal Consultant/Chief Executive Officer

A Professional Member of FCSI, Food Service Consultants Society International, after graduating from the of Institute of Hotel Management, Bhopal, Rajat went on to do an M.B.A from I.M.I Delhi with majors in Finance and Operations, following up with a specialized course in Managing & Transforming professional Service Firms from the Harvard Business School. Rajat founded HPG consulting 16 years ago, a specialized Food Service Design Consultancy based out of Dubai & India with projects across the S.A.A.R.C. Nations, Africa & Middle East, HPG has been associated with all prominent names of the industry like Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, Starwood, ACCOR, Rotana, IHG, Movenpick, Taj & Carlson since inception. Rajat has recently launched his own chain of Restaurants in Delhi & has ventured into Adventure Resorts as well, with the first located in Himachal Pradesh. An adventure enthusiast, an avid mountain trekker (having scaled heights of more than 6000 meters) & a passionate rafter (having rafted across the Brahmaputra, one of the greatest rivers in the world), Rajat is someone who isn’t afraid to explore what daunts others & has an inherent conviction to delve into the unknown.

Neel Kamal Chauhan

Chief Opertaing Officer

Neel is an associate consultant and an associate Member of FCSI, Food Service Consultants Society International. A Master of Tourism Administration with specialization in Hotel Operations Management and Master of Commerce. He has worked on research projects for State Tourism Departments. Started with Hotel Imperial, Worked with Oberoi, Clarks, Trident, Hilton and Park Hotels, Later he moved to ITC Welcome Heritage as General Manager. During his tenure he was instrumental in franchisee agreements, expansion, renovation, developing procedures, setting up service standards, operational policies cost controlling and training. He was instrumental in setting up new projects and facilitated opening of luxury resorts. He has more than 14 years of experience in hotel operations management, project planning & implementation. He has been Associate Consultant for projects of Hilton, Starwood, Dusit International, Langham International to name few and Projects in Middle East & Africa Region.

Navin Kumar

Director - Projects

A hotel management graduate from Mangalore University, India. He holds 8 years of work experience in hotel operations & 9 years of association with HPG consulting. He started off his career with Choice Hospitality and then continued working in different hotel brands like IHG, Carlson Rezidor, Club Mahindra, in housekeeping at a capacity of executive housekeeper. He joined HPG Consulting in 2007 as Project Manager and gas been independently handling all Carlson, Hilton, Movenpick & Marriott hotels for the company during his tenure in India office. He was also instrumental in planning and commissioning of some big scale laundries for Indian Hotels ranging upto 1200 room hotel laundry. He is currently heading our Dubai office and handling Hilton, IHG, Citymax, Kempinski, Movenpick, Rotana and Carlson Rezidor Projects spread across middle east Asia & African Sub continent.

Govind Gauniyal

Asst. Vice President-Technical Services

With an engineering background and vast experience in this particular field Mr. Govind heads the technical department of HPG Consulting. His proficient team of technical assistants specializes in design management, budgeting, site quality control and technical specification.



A Master of Business Administration with majors in Finance & Marketing. She has started her career with HPG and has total five year of facility planning experience. She has been involved with working on projects for major hotel chains like Accor, Langham. She specializes in designing, MEP and project coordination.

Amit Shrivastava


Amit is a hotel Management graduate from IHM Bhopal, India, has a vast experience of over a decade as a key beverage consultant and mixologist. He specializes in Bar designing, cocktail development & design as well as menu designing. Involved in Back of the House Planning for all major brands including Carlson Rezidor Group, Marriott International, Intercontinental Hotels Group, Starwood Hotels & Resorts & Indian Hotels Company with their upcoming properties across the nation. Also leading the vertical that specializes in Institutional & Corporate Catering units including cafeteria, hospitals and restaurants.

Raj Kapoor


Raj is an architecture graduate from CRRIT New Delhi, India with an experience of over a decade in the Hotel Planning consultancy field. He started his career as assistant Architect in hospitality projects at a reputed architectural firm and later on moved to HPG consulting specializes in designing the initial zoning plan of the back of the house of hotels & catering establishments. He has thorough knowledge of Operational Planning, operational budgeting & technical services.

Debadri Gupta

Project Manager

A Hospitality Management Graduate from Middlesex University, London, started his career with The Marriott Hotels & Resorts at Scotland in Food & Beverage Operations. He has several years of experience with Premium Hotel Brands in United Kingdom and India.

Dr.Surabhi Munjal

Director-Business Development

Surabhi, our administrative head, is a post graduate dentist with a double masters in administration. Being associated with Apollo Group of Hospitals gave her an intrinsic knowledge of the inner workings of hospitals, which she is now utilizing in expanding the healthcare division of our company.

Tasleem Ahmad

Project Manager

A graduate in Civil engineering with an experience of over a decade in facility planning, MEP and project co-ordination. Tasleem has been handling projects for major Hotel chains like Taj, TGB, Novotel, Sofitel, Radisson and Hilton etc. He is also engaged in projects for clubs, restaurant and industrial cafeterias.

Inderjeet Kushwaha

Project Manager

A problem-solver known for his energy and enthusiasm, Inderjeet delivers projects across the INDIA and MIDDLE EAST Region and inspires confidence in all who work with him, not only for his professional and ethical approach, but also for his extensive industry knowledge and experience. Inderjeet has been handling Projects for major hotels Hilton Worldwide, Rotana, Hyatt, Fraser suites,Movenpick and also deals with the local projects. His strength is his technical knowledge of catering equipment practices and regulations, having previously worked for worldwide catering equipment suppliers & manufacturers. Inderjeet ensures thorough co-ordination at all stages of the design project between the client, contractors and construction teams.
